Mark and I had a fun weekend! We (of course) worked our little booties off! But after that we chilled with Malachy, hit a couple of parks, watched some TV, and drove around in our new car! Yep, I said new (used) car... This week we bought a 1997 Grand Jeep Cherokee from a friend at work! It's got a ton of miles on it but it runs great and we are loving it! We have heard from many people that Jeep Cherokees are great cars. I can't wait to take it on a trip to Iowa, it's definietly an upgrade! I'm loving the leather seats, CD player, and Sun roof! (I know I will also love the heated seats in the winter!) We still have the Malibu too...kind of...it's been in the shop for like 3 weeks now with no end in sight...but some day we hope it will be back with us. And who knows maybe I will start driving it?!
Kim, Crystal and I got to do some scrap-booking on Friday night and I got a ton done!! So I feel very pleased with that! Yea! I hung out with my friend Ginger today and that was a ton of fun! We have known eachother forever so it's always "chill" when we get together. She is a great photographer and scrapbooker and I love being around her and soaking up her creativity. I feel so blessed to have people like Ginger, Crystal, Corey, KC, Sara, and Nicci in my life. I have known all of these gals for 12 years or more and they really are like family to me. How many people are that freaking lucky!
And it's worth mentioning that Mark and I caught the end of the "instant classic" Notre Dame game on Saturday! Wow what an exciting 15 minutes that was!

Your car looks awesome Steff!! And I think black is the best color for cars and silver after that!!
Cherokees are alright (of course they are nothing compared to the Wrangler in terms of BadAss Coolness and overall Sweetness) but they'er gas guzzlers! Watch out!
That camera is actually prety cool (for a kids camera) -- I did a little "research" on it because I'm thinking of getting one for Aidan. Only one negative little thing I'll mention is that it says ages 3+ and Mally is only going to be 2 :-(
I think your car is kick arse and super fly cool!
That sounds like so much fun Steph!!! YEAH!! I LOVE YOUR NEW CAR TOO!!!
I used to have a (really, really old) jeep cheeroke but I LOVED IT!!! It was like 17 years old but it was a great car. You guys are going to be so happy with it!!!
Hi steph,
The new car looks great. We are big fan's of Ford once you have a car that's good to you and doesn't give you alot of problems you tend to stick to it. I've never owned a Jeep. Looks like a fun car. We have 2 1999 Ford Windstar minivans right now. Before that were three different Ford Taurus's. I've been having problems with my email. Jon found a email from kim it had been sitting their for 2 weeks but it never showed up on my computer. Jon and I share an email address, but we both have seperate computers. Maybe I have to get my own email account. I sent you an email, only one don't know if you got it I haven't seen one from you yet, but maybe Jon has????? I haven't gotten help from him yet on down sizing my picture's. I put up a new post this morning. Later, Valerie
Hi Steph,
Yeah thats Gabi and Allison with my kids. They are 4 and 2. In February they will turn 5 and 3. I sent you an email on the 14th of September. I don't know my email doesn't work right???? The fitness club here is great I love it and so do the kids. They have a daycare center there and with your membership you get 2 hours a day of free child care. It's great the kids go and play with other kids while I work out and go tanning for up to 2 hours and then I take them for a swim in the pool, which is even more exersize. They have a really nice pool and they have family swim everyday. They have water slides inside and outside. And the pool starts at zero feet and goes up to four feet. I wish I would have joined sooner. It's worth the money and its about a 25 minute drive, it's worth the drive too. It makes me feel good to go there. I'm down 4 pounds now. Talk to you later. Valerie
Oh and the answer to your other question. I love scrapbooking, however I find it really hard to do. It's been a long time since I scrapbooked. It's so much work to pull it all out and then put it all back. Hanna makes me make an extra page for her everytime and she steels my paper and stickers. It's not safe in my house to leave all of my stuff out, or I would do it more often. Plus I have gotten really bad about taking pictures and about getting them developed. It's been almost 2 years since I have had any photos developed. It's embarassing. Later, Valerie
Love you Steph!
